Fly-In 2024 – Brussels
Welcome to visit the highlights of Brussels, the capital of Belgium and Europe, organised by IFFR Benelux from Friday 12th July until Sunday 14th July 2024.
Brussels is Belgium’s capital city, full of Art Deco taverns, unique Flemish art, towering Gothic cathedrals, and quaint guild houses. Buzzing with activities all year around, discover the parks with blooming flowers, architectural monuments, historic culture and art while filling up on the famous Belgian chocolates and the huge choice of local beers.
Brussels is also one of the best European cities to go shopping in thanks to its 19th-century shopping arcade. This arcade houses a range of high-end brands some of which have designed clothes for the Belgian Royal Family. The cobbled lanes of the city centre are lined with Michelin-starred restaurants and wood-panelled Art Deco brasseries.
During this IFFR weekend, we will give you an idea of the highlights of Brussels, but we are pretty sure you’ll come back to discover more off this vibrant city.
At the same time, this weekend is the last destination of the IFFR Fly-Out through Europe. For pilots we start this weekend with a challenge. When landing at Grimbergen Airfield, you have to keep in mind that this airfield is located in the CTR of Brussels International Airport and you ‘meet’ some airliners during the approach… The airfield is located at 30 minutes from the citycenter of Brussels.
May we welcome you in Brussels this year?
